When you chose your cabinets, do you match the widths of the wall and base cabinets?

For example, if you have a 12" base cabinet, do you ONLY hang a 12" wall cabinet above it, etc. etc.?

I hope that makes sense.

Need to know ASAP!

Thanks!

The answer is yes but it's not always possible

Fortunately it was possible!

At first I didn't think it was possible because I missed a page of sizes.

When I turned the page, there they were!

Thanks for verifying that I did it right!

Thanks!

It should be interesting. We've never done a kitchen. We've pulled out the existing cabinets a few times for various reasons. So, in a way, we have experience installing them. Since we're planning to move, I decided to make it simple and keep the kitchen, range and refrigerator in the their current locations.

You'll be glad to know that we chose a wood instead of white. Not because we like it better though. The only white we liked was an off white. That would have required we repaint since are walls are a very pale ecru. And we would have been limited in appliance color choices with the off-white too.

Bottom line, we made our choices for what was easiest. And cheaper. The white cabinets we wanted were more expensive than the wood we liked. I told hubby we could save the white cabinets for our new house.
