Our home was built in 2005, I considerate it relatively new and it hasn't been updated.
The carpet will need to be replaced at some point, or a different flooring laid, but a cleaning
should be enough for right now.
Our house was built in 2007. We haven't done any remodeling, but we have done a lot of painting and decorating. Our entire house is hardwood, so at least as far as flooring goes there isn't anything to do. We will probably have the floors refinished in a few more years because the previous owners' dogs scratched them in some places. In another 10 years or whatever we might change up the kitchen and master bathroom. I kind of hate our master bath, but I can definitely live with it and I feel like it's too nice to rip it apart.
2002. We will not do major updating. We will redo the vinyl in the kitchen and the carpet in the bedrooms. We have already restained the hardwoods and installed new carpet in the family/living room.
We also have painted the garage door to match the siding, and painted the front door to contrast with the rest of the house.
I feel frankly that our kitchen and baths could use freshening up, but I don't think we will spend the money on it.
I feel that after about 20 years kitchens and baths should be updated as a general rule. In my previous home, built in 1979, we remodeled and updated our kitchen and baths. We redid our kitchen in 1999.
1979 and I'm trying to restore to completely original 1970's! Do you know how hard it is to find shag carpet??? I'd appreciate any leads on a round bed too....
My House was built in 1997 I think but now I am planning for getting a place for new home.
