I was at a library and saw this chair and immediately fell in love with the design. I would like to look at possibly buying it but I cannot find anything similar online. The library also didn't know where the chair came from.
Does anyone know what this design is called? Or can you please paste a link from an online store where you may have seen it?
There were a few manufacturers that built similar chairs. One was Grier(?) and another was Danish. But I don't recall either having a chrome frame- so that would make those chairs relatively new. And a play on the ones from the 60's/70's.
'Course, you could go back to the library and look at the bottom of the chair for a name/model #/ etc.

Thanks!
That is an exact match! I just googled it and I found this link. Very very close. Ill look at some furniture store websites now to see if they have it.

Nice call, not Eames but surely Eames inspired. Brian Kane designed and Herman Miller produced. The swoop chair.

I'd use that term loosely-
Like I* previously mentioned, there were the same basic chair in the late 60's, early 70's. His "design" was in the 90's. Wonder how Herman Miller got a patent? Did the chrome frame really make it that different?
