We have different seasons a year and indulge in several activities in life, these possibilities enable we need and use certain items of our belongings more often than others. How and where do we keep these things I hardly use?

It all depends on what space you have for storage, basement , attic, storage room etc.
^^^ Yes, depends on space. You can dedicate a whole closet, or store seasonal stuff in boxes, luggage, or space bags. Do Space Bags Really Work? | The Pioneer Woman
Use garage, storage or attic space.
I am lucky to have enough storage closets to store seasonal stuff separately.

If these are important to you, you will have to find space for storage. I suggest garage (shelving or above the car), one dedicated closet, one large dresser, under the bed, in the basement, or in the attic. What you come up with depends on the place you are living in.
It also depends upon what you are talking about. Are we talking skis, both water and snow,or gardening tools, for example, or clothing? Sounds like sporting equipment if you have it in the garage but hard to tell form your post.
I do everything from downhill ski in the winter to kayak in the summer. Lots of "gear" to store, not a whole lot of space to store it in (no basement, no real room inside the house, only a single car garage that must be able hold a car). Kayaks stand on end, strapped to a wall, skis hang from another wall on pegs with a shelf for the boot bags/assorted gear (kayak stuff just stays in the kayaks after we air-dry it). Basically, the stuff is stored in the most efficient manner possible, even when it means spending money or building something custom to gain that efficiency.
You'll need to be much more specific about what it is you're trying to store to get ideas for the best way to store said item. If it's just random stuff, pack like items (or seasons) in plastic storage boxes and get it off the floor and onto shelves or overhead.
