Our Master bedroom faces east and has all windows on the east side. It's 5 AM and its crazy light inside even with wooden blinds on. Thinking about getting a black out curtain or something. What are my options?

We have 4 windows covering the entire wall 15 feet wide, 84 inches tall. Should I get a single rod or multiple ones? Where can I get quality dark out blinds?

You may want to get blackout drapes. The width is going to drive you into custom drapery if you want to use a single rod. Depending on the amount of wall betw. each window, you could get away w multiple rods. IMO drapes generally look better hung high and wide.

Check out villagedrapes.com -- I found them to be the cheapest custom option and their workroom produces very good quality treatments. We have their silk blackout drapes in our son's room in conjunction w cellular shades to get 100% light blocking.

IKEA's blackout curtains are $50 a pair, which cover 57 inches, so they shouldn't be unacceptably bunched up at 48 inches:
MARJUN Blackout curtains, 1 pair - IKEA
I find one panel covers a 32-inch window very well. They are longer than 84 inches and are made of polyester.

Try this eye mask first. I suffered a brain injury a few years ago with constant migraines and light sensitivity. I tried every eye mask on the market it seemed. The one below is the best and it's inexpensive. I too sleep in an eastern facing bedroom. This eye mask blocks out all light. It's comfortable.

Who knows? It might be the answer.
