They look appropriate for a traditional home. What are the panel made of? How old are they? Where did you obtain them? Those are pertinent questions if you are wondering if they are good enough to hang in your home.
It is hard to tell much about them from photos.
The important thing, I think, is, "do you like them?"
The important thing, I think, is, "do you like them?"
I think this is the most important question ^^^
Do YOU want to like your home, or you want US to like your home? Do you decorate according to your taste or other people taste?
If you decorate to other people taste, you are not making your home homey, you don't personalize it, it will not reflect your character - it will be staged like a generic house on a website/magazine that some people would like and some not because you just can't please everyone.
I noticed way too often that people come here and ask others what they do like.
It's your home. It's your biggest expense, your dream. You pay a lot of money to live in that dream, so it should be made all the way YOU want, to please yourself, not to impress others.
Trends are great, but they fade. You should listen to your guts and buy what appeals to you. That's how trends start anyway. People come to see your house and if they like particular details they would want it in their home.
I think they're kinda neat and, judging by the bit of rug I see, could very well fit in your home.....
That was my thought too. They wouldn't fit with lots of decorating styles, but if the peek of rug is any indication, they will probably fit in with yours.
Too heavy for me personally, but they would look nice in the right home.
