Power recliners are like power windows in a car. One you have them you neve want the mechanical ones again. Trust me on this.

Yep.

My inlaws still have manual recliners. It's such a step backwards to use them.

Guess that’s the same as getting your first recliner, you would never go back to not having one so I’m not ready to take the plunge whether its manual or powered. Why would you want to get up?

Recliners help painful backs.

My wife and I are 52. Wife has multiple spinal problems, nerve damage, and has had both knees replaced and she’s only 4 feet 10 inches tall. Having powered recliners makes it easier on her. They also have a built in USB charging port near the buttons.

If you ever wind up having surgery on your knees/hips/back, you will be very glad you have a recliner at home. In some cases, it will be the only place you can sleep.

I once had ear surgery. They removed my ear drum because of polyps and use tissue from another part of my body to create a new ear drum. The incision was the entire length of the back of my ear. No sleeping in bed for weeks. Had to have a towel on the recliner for the drainage.

We recently got a power recliner for the living room. And the best part, is it's battery powered. You charge the battery and it lasts for a month before needing to be charged again (which you can do overnight). Has USB ports on either side so we can easily charge the phones.

Just bought one today and elected manual. I don't want to deal with power. Manual is easier for me.
