I'm not sure if you will consider this saddle baggish or not, but this is what we went with. We too didn't want the overly puffy look, but then that meant we would have to get a more contemporary look, and we aren't into that either.

We have two young boys and since it's in our family room, we wanted something very comfortable. The foot rests come out on each end, so a total of for. It also reclines fully back....like laying in a bed. We got this from Haverty's.

Good luck in your search. Oh and this is before we decorated the house, so excuse the blahness of it all. Lol.

I have seen this sofa and did like it, but again it is a "saddle baggish" for my tastes. Unfortunately our sofa shopping has been halted for a while because our dishwasher died recently and we had to replace it.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Jay

Default Nice, traditional look leather sectional with motion

Hi Jay et al,

If you are referring to Thomasville's "Benjamin" model, yes, it is very nice.
We found one we like even more made by Motioncraft by Sherrill Furniture.
Expensive, but well-made in the U.S. and should last for many, many years. Google them and look for an authorized dealer.

We haven't purchased yet, so if anyone knows of a brand we should look at for a traditional look (not the comtemporary or "saddlebag" look) please let me know!

Awesome. I bought the Hemingway bedroom collection with the leather backed sleigh bed, granite topped vanity with the vanity mirror and night stands.
