Hopefully these links will work! I've always wanted to know what others would describe my style as. I want to be able to walk in a furniture store and be able to tell them what I like.(In the correct terms)

10 Can't-Miss Color Trends for 2009 : Decorating : Home & Garden Television

I love that wall color, the silver trim on the bed, the color, fabric and textures of the linens.

10 Can't-Miss Color Trends for 2009 : Decorating : Home & Garden Television

The Black mirror along with that bold wall color looks amazing. The pink color on the chairs facing the black and white sofa with accessories in black/white looks great. Love the white rug!

It's a cross between Hollywood Regency and Danish Modern. It is characterized by glamourous finishes and streamlined shapes.

I would say modern traditional mostly. The fabrics are traditonal with quite modern colors. Very little pattern.
The furniture styles are traditional but pared down a little and have modern fabric upholstery.

Now those last 2 chairs are quite retro to me- legs are cisrcular in profile and very straight- 60s/70s style I think?

Your style seems a lot like a contemporary version of Mid-Century Modern.

print out the pictures and put them in a book to take shopping with you. you like crisp lines and your style can be described as a mix of the ones mentioned in the posts above. these rooms are all pulled together with hints of different styles that compliment one another, the color pulls it all together. it is beautiful and I think keeping a book with you while shopping will keep you on track.

I always encourage (actually, insist!) that potential clients find pix of things they love before our initial consultation, it puts me in their heads much more quickly, therefore, I can fast track a design plan for them. It always works much better than any conversation.
I ditto a book of pix to take with you!
