We are re doing the entire kitchen in a house we are closing on, on Friday. We bought cherry cinnamon cabinets, stainless steal appliances, and stellar snow quarts countertops. Our whole home will be very contemporary with clean lines but still livable! The living room dining room will be painted a blue/gray and the same blue will be present in almost every room in some way. (blue in the countertops for example) My question is, what color should we paint the kitchen? Right now we will not have a full backsplash until budget allows so the color is very important. Also the color will be seen from the living room and come in the kitchen. I was thinking of a butter cream color but really need pointers. We are closing late so I need to paint the day we close as the cabinets will be installed next day.
Congrats on the house!
I think you are right on with the buttercream paint color for the kitchen.
Not trying to throw you off or anything but why blue in the dining room? I find it to be one of the MOST unappetizing colors...my kitchen here was blue and it was the first thing I repainted here.
But hey, that's just me.
