Anyone have banquette seating in their kitchen? (table, chair, custom)

I love the idea of banquette seating. It just seems so cozy. Are they almost always custom built?

Yes, banquettes are pretty much all custom built.

If you can find the componentry that fits your space, you can use bookcases to build your own quasi-prefab banquette. Such as this one from ikea hack: Ikea Hacker banquette Or use benches like these

I had one when the kids were younger (came with the house). The problem was that since the kids were different sizes and ages....they weren't able to adjust an individual chair in proximity to the table.
So, I never liked it because it was inconvenient....even though it looked really cool.
