You did a great job! I love the windows! We have decided that since we so rarely use our dining room, we will be turning it into a library too. We recently put a sliding glass door in with a deck outside. This is a project that now is on hold for a bit while we wait for things to warm up! We will be doing the whole room over - including the ceiling!
You did a beautiful job and have at least some open space. I also like the colors you chose for the room.
By contrast, our library is wall to wall booksand I repainted it so that three sides are in a color called peanut butter and one wall a deep red. It was a lot of work but well worth it. Enjoy your library.
