I know they are from different segment, but if it's used for regular driving, which one do you prefer. The cost should be the same, if buy used in a year or two.

I'd go with the Civic.

The thing with Civic is that it has more of a reputation for people in their teens and twenties, while an Accord is for grown-ups. Accords have more mature and classic feel and look to it.

The Accord offers more space, and is a bit more comfortable than the Civic, so I would tend to prefer the Accord.

Because it's larger, do you also find it harder to drive on smaller roads and harder to park on smaller parking spots.

I think this is hogwash, but I have to ask. If you have already made up your mind, why are you asking all of us. Just get the Accord and be done with.

Grown ups buy cars that make sense. Civic does, Accord does not unless you MUST have larger car.

I am somewhat intrigued by the new design and bigger size of the new Civic.

Personally, I'd choose the 4-cyl Accord. The extra space, higher comfort, and better, quieter ride all are better than the Civic.

Yeah, that's what I am thinking, plus the mature feel and look of it as well.
