I know they are from different segment, but if it's used for regular driving, which one do you prefer. The cost should be the same, if buy used in a year or two.
The thing with Civic is that it has more of a reputation for people in their teens and twenties, while an Accord is for grown-ups. Accords have more mature and classic feel and look to it.
The Accord offers more space, and is a bit more comfortable than the Civic, so I would tend to prefer the Accord.

I think this is hogwash, but I have to ask. If you have already made up your mind, why are you asking all of us. Just get the Accord and be done with.
Personally, I'd choose the 4-cyl Accord. The extra space, higher comfort, and better, quieter ride all are better than the Civic.
Yeah, that's what I am thinking, plus the mature feel and look of it as well.
