Have you considered a plain glass (no frame or edge) hinged door? No track needed on the bottom as long as your shower is at least 3' wide and the lip (that you step across to get in and out of the shower) is at least 2 inches high. There is nothing anywhere to trap 'gunk'. I've had my door for 5 years and it looks as good as new. The only maintenance needed is to squeegee the water drops off before you step out of the shower; takes about 15 seconds to do. Maybe also a once-a-month Windexing if even that.
Frameless shower doors do leak, unless they have this ugly plastic molding around them. And usually to get a water shield on the door there is an upcharge.
Weight what you truly want.
If its looks over functionality then get a frameless shower door
If its functionality over looks then get a framed shower door.
You can also look at the option of getting an oversized framed shower door so the frame does not sit right in your field of view.

I am so envious that your bathroom is ready---heck we are still trying to find a contractor that will actually give us an estimate. They come out, take measurements, discuss, then bam never to be heard from again. **mental note, check breath and deodorant before next contractor comes* LOL
