ok so the repair mans is here the pump and motor assembly will be 182.55 not counting install and the circuit board will be 135.00 roughly plus install. now thats almost what i paid for the darm machine i told the repair man id'e call him back i was gonna talk with the insureance co and see if they wanted to scrap this pile of junk cost it's gonna cost just as much to fix it and just send me a gift card with what i paid for the machine and let me go buy a newer machine as well as better quality one. be lery of LG there hard to get parts for and they don't have authorized service centers all over the place also and there customer service is pitifull took me two hrs to get a rep blaah i'll buy american next time.

i had no issues with LG customer service when replacing parts for the fridge in the house i bought. Also bought LG Washer and Dryer and needed the lint lighter for the gas replaced (they said it sometimes gets knocked out of place in transit since it's a delicate piece). They sent someone out within a few days, problem solved! I've read nothing but good things about the quality of their washer/dryers. dunno about dishwashers though. good luck buying american...most of those are made in mexico!

I would be LG and Samsung for my house in Thailand, not here in the US. Whirlpool is highly regarded over there. My dad's circuit board went out on the Maytag DW. It was warranted, but I bought a GE with the old style dial.
