Our well had a bad check valve a few months ago and we replaced it. Everything seemed like it was fine except our electricity bill is still almost double. Our pressure is set at about 35 - 55 psi, the pressure tank has 35 psi. Now we are only getting 35 psi of pressure and it suddenly drops like 20 psi and comes back up to 35 and repeats. It does not appear that the pressure switch is kicking off. Does it sound like we have a leak in the well? Or something with the pressure tank? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
