I just remodelded my bathroom and my shower has Travertine tile on the shower floor and walls. I also am having a glass shower door and glass to two ponywalls that around the shower. I know that I have to use a soft cleaner on the tile, but what is safe enough to clean soap scum off of glass and not hurt the tile? I have used a daily shower clean in the past, but did not have natural stone in my shower so not sure what to use.
The first thing you need to do is coat the inside of the shower glass with Rain-X.It'll keep the glass clean and the water will bead right up.After each shower just use a rubber squeegee,I only have to clean my glass about every 3 months doing this. The only thing I use to clean the glass shower door and side panels are spray glass cleaner. If there is a bit of soap scum I'll use some Fantastic first, then re-apply the Rain-X.
My contractor told me to put rainx on the new glass before the shower is ever used. He said it was a great way to preserve the glass. Typical of busy/lazy me; never did it but its a guest shower that is not used much.
You not only have to be carefull of cleaning agents on the tile but the GROUT as well What kind of grout was installed? Typically the best and safest to use that will not void warranties is Vinegar
You may have to use 2 separate cleaners between the glass and tile work
