My bath room shower mirror has funky white stains that I can't seem to remove, I've tried a few different sprays to no avail.

Any ideas ??

Try white vinegar or rubbing alcohol.

Do you know what type of stain it is? I think it is calcium build up from your water...tooth paste helps. vinegar with baking soda helps too. It helps if you dry the mirror after every time showering ,that is what we do!

Try using a small paint scraper with a razor blade.
If it doesnt come off then its in the glass.

Tried single edge razor blade and it helped about 50% but not totally.

Did you scrape it wet or dry. Sometimes wet works better.
Spray some glass cleaner and keep scraping till the glass is smooth and slick.
If its on top of the glass it will come off.
Then again whatever is on there might have etched the glass.

I tried it dry first.

I just got though using same method with vinegar and is almost pure clean. I'll be one busy person for a while :-)

Thanks to All.

Scraping glass with a razor blade - in the right light you will see the scratches you are making. I've used Barkeeper's Friend, a little elbow grease, rinse and a microcloth to dry - works great.
