I currently have an old wooden basement entry door that leads to steps and Bilco doors. Id like to replace it as its old, and not sealed the best.

I have no idea where to even look. When I search for basement doors, all I come upon are Bilco doors. Id like to perhaps get a steel door but keep the same dimensions. But I also would have no idea how to install it between concrete blocks. Are there even options out there for this?

Find a carpenter (or millwork shop) for wood.
Find a metal fabricator for steel.

ANy exterior door that will fit in the opening can be used. It is just another exterior door. You do nto need anything special because it is a basement door. I think ours is fiberglass.

First impressions are to measure the entire wall opening height and width. Then find out if there is a pre-hung door that will fit in the opening. I doubt there will be one that fits exactly so on to step 2.

Step 2. Can the wall opening be built up (wooden framed) to meet the rough openings of a pre-hung door? I expect it could be. If so I would build up the opening with preserved wood as it will be in contact with the bare foundation. Then hang the pre-hung door. I think this is going to be the easiest and least expensive way. Might also consider using an exterior, not interior door. One home I had with bulkhead doors had an interior steel door into the basement.

Hope this helps.
