If the picture of the slider is above the area that is leaking I would look at the slider opening area very, very closely before I started breaking things up: gaps under the threshold, , the inside corners of the frame and around the frame are all potential water intrusion sources.

Hi there, thanks for writing. As an update, I don't have to bust up the patio. As QIS pointed out, part of the problem was around the slider area of the door, but the biggest problem was from up above. There is a flat roof/deck above the area of the patio. During an inspection there were some holes found in this deck, water would leak through the walls of the house and then make its way down to the basement. It just so happened that it was around the deck area, but really had nothing to do with the actual deck at all. Thanks for the concern mollygee!

That is some good news. We fought that basement water for way too long, at our old place...... could not finish the basement or anything!!! Just a nightmare, I know!

We have lived in this house for 10 years; the rubber material was installed over the deck, just before we moved in. It has lasted and worked really well.... keep us posted!!
