I hope it's ok for me to ask this here. I've been noticing that I havent seen any of desertsun41's posts lately. I just checked and apparently he hasnt posted since July 2013.
Whether you agreed with him or not, he was always willing to help out those who had questions -- and I think he was a valuable asset to this forum.
I wonder about posters who just disappear, especially when they've been so active as was desertsun41. He didnt seem the type to get upset about something and leave C-D.

The last time he and I spoke he was pretty fed up. After awhile you get tired of the pitch fork people. The mods try their best to keep threads from getting nasty but since they are volunteers a lot of threads go unchecked. He is among a lot of long time posters that don't show up anymore.
the banning / infractions thing is totally annoying, we are not in school. were adults.
what happened to freedom of speech?
Viciousness not allowed. An insult here or there is not allowed either.
