In the current vinyl floor, there are two locations (doorways) where vinyl meets carpeting from another room and they connect via metal transition strips.
If we cover the vinyl floor with a new click flooring tile floor, what do you replace the metal transition strips in those places with where the new tile will come up to the carpet? They say that there is supposed to be a 1/4 in. separation for expansion.
Thanks! I see they have some T-type transition strips that look like they allow for the expansion.
