Sprayway. The ones I bought on the internet (Amazon) was in a 6 pack. They offered all different amounts but that's the one I got (shipping was really high though). But I'm out in the country and we don't have those kind of stores out here like Costco/Sams Club to buy Srayway. Hopefully I'll get it delivered soon so I can try it out. We have a large home with tons of mirrors and they are all streaky/smeary looking!!!!

Wow, didn't realize Sprayway was so popular. I was told about it years ago by an HDTV calibration guy, and that wa the first I've ever heard of it. I thought it was a specific item for that field, but I guess it's mainstream. Good stuff.

Yes, I use it on my big screen.

Sprayway is great stuff, no doubt, but try Stoner's Glass cleaner as well. You can pick it up in the auto section at Wal-Mart. It does cost a tad more than the Sprayway but works just as good, if not better, especially on car windows..

i had this problem also. did some research and apparently the normal glass cleaners can leave a waxy buildup over time. vinegar, water and a drop of rubbing alcohol or dish soap will cut through the wax and leave no more streaks. also, change paper towels often.

Thats nice to know. I see that alot at my first time houses. Dont see it so much at my regulars cause Ive cleaned them to with in an inch of their lives.

This works for me. First do a quick scrape with a single edge paint scraper to get off hair spray , toothpaste dibs etc. Then use whatever but use a dry thick terry wash cloth.(no fabric softener) instead of paper towels. Then another quick scrape and use a dry microfiber cloth. If you see streaks scrape and dry microfiber again.

As you slide the scraper across you will feel spots you missed even if you cant see them. Make sure you have a fresh blade. If you get a stubborn spot spray a tiny amount on the spot or spray your rag but dont douse the mirror. The more wet you put on the longer it takes to buff it off. Also you run the risk of streaking the good parts.

The terry cloth scrubs better than paper towels. Paper towels are okay once you get your mirror buffed and scraped. FYI. A lot of things like hair spray come off easier dry. Also sometimes you can just scape and do a dry microfiber if theres just a few spots. After youve been scaping for a while your mirrors should be pretty squeaky. .

A friend of mine worked at a restaraunt with a lot of mirrors and she reccommended using coffee filters rather than paper towels/newsprint since they work very well and don't leave streaks.

I absolutely agree with sprayway, and want to rep everyone who suggested it. I hated doing mirrors and windows because of the streaks. I went and bought a can at Lowe's for about $2, and loved it. Next thing I knew, I was cleaning every mirror , TV, and window in the house with no effort. It dries so quickly, it can not streak. Absolutely loved the stuff. Thanks, Liz
