I've never seen a door like that inside a house before in my life. All the doors around here and where I grew up are just flat.
Front doors, however, are sometimes the 6-panel.

This is no different then someone pointing out a cloud looks like an elephant. Then the second person says...hmm it kind of does look like one. Of course, that doesn't make the cloud an actual elephant no more than make the door an actual cross.
