Although we rent we are still responsible to mow our hilly, big backyard. I am disabled and my husband is exhausted and busy when not working. I have no idea how much to pay someone to mow the yard.
How do I go about finding someone? Craigslist? Landscaping company? There are teenage boys in the neighborhood but ive never spoken to them, not sure if it'd be odd to randomly approach them

There is a website called Nextdoor.com and my neighborhood is a member. I think they are nationwide. Anyway, I posted on there that I needed a yard man and got hooked up with a 14 year old kid whose uncle helps him out with a lawn care business. I pay him $25 to do my front and side yards...the backyard is just woods.

I would post in the city section for the city you are in. The going rate in LA is going to be different than the rate in Kansas City.
Good thinking. Thank you!
