Is there some reason you can't do it yourself?

You are probably looking for a pest control company.

Shucks, *I'D* come and do it for you and charge you $25/hour plus travel time.

Saner option: buy a duster on an extension pole -- that's so that if you have a phobia you don't have to get near the spiders. Wrap the webs around the pole, suck up any remaining spiders in a portable vac, wash out with a hose.

Personally, I leave the spiders alone unless they are inside or blocking access to something. They keep the insect overpopulation at bay.

Well, to play Devil's advocate, mehbee the OP can't do this simple chore anymore.

I can keep up with the house but my barn and garage are not looking so hot since a bad accident that did even more damage to my back and left me with serious vertigo.

There is no way in H**l I Can look up for more than a minute without passing out.

A general handyman would be all the OP would need IF she can find someone trustworthy and willing to do menial labor for what it's actually worth and that is not $25/hr.

That being said: if the OP does not have any physical issues or severe allergies, yes indeed, get your big girl underwear on and get to cleaning

I just did this to my garage. Twelve years of webs and dust. Broom and a shop vac and some new white paint..and it is like new. I will come over and clean yours for 100 dollars, a six pack of Blue Moon and two breakfast burritos with that spicy Jimmy Dean Sausage in them....Deal?

I put bug spray cans in my garage monthly to keep the spiders down (the building is 88 years old and has a dirt floor, so it gets a lot of them). This past weekend my yard guy and a helper came and helped me clean out a lot of stuff and rearrange the rest - they used a broom to sweep away the remaining webs and spider egg sacs so that they wouldn't hatch and repopulate the structure.
