I'm on the east coast and the weather should be in the 50s during the day for the next week or two. At night some days may be below freezing. After that, night temperatures are predicted to be below freezing at night.
Pour concrete now or wait until warm weather? If we pour, what should be done to make sure the product cures properly?
Cool temp's are great- it allows slower curing time. Stronger concrete.
Flatwork may need to be covered if its a hard freeze. Otherwise your fine- ground temp is still well above freezing.
Calcium Chloride can be added to speed the curing process if "placing" temps are @ freezing or below. If its not a crucial job and can wait till spring do that. Just remember that anytime of the year CAN present problems.
