LED/CFL... whatever gives me 6500kand over i will take it. I will take a look at online HD. Let me see what I can find.
3500K should be similar color to a halogen (2700K warm white would be more yellow).

Anyways, look at the Great Value cfl's at Walmart, I bought some 4-packs of the 100 watt equivalent "daylight" white to use in my shop and they light it up perfectly.

Just for reference Kelvin temp is the color of the bulb, so for LED a 2700K bulb is "warm white" and for a LED pot light bulb you get 650 lumens on average. You can go up to I believe 5000K which is daylight and about 800 Lumens.

Also reference a standard car halogen headlight at 700 Lumens and a high beam at 1100. I believe you are confusing Lumens with Kelvin. Lumens is actual light output and Kelvin is a temperature scale based on color.

Oh no... 6500k is what I want. Bright white light throughout the house. I can go with lower lumens, that is just fine.
@southernnaturelover: those were the last batches I bought, currently unavailable at Walmarts in my area.
