I’m planning for the renovation of my home and there are lot of stuffs to be removed. As we are planning to change the entire look of home with the existing structure, there will be junks like old furniture and cribs, some dead electronic devices and machines. Planning to hire rental bins in Toronto ( Gorilla Bins), since their rates looks affordable. I haven’t tried this before, so can anyone guide me through the whole procedure renting one during renovation.

Call the company and schedule a drop off and pick-up date. Some don't require a firm pick-up date, but most will charge extra you if you hold on for more than 2~4 weeks. Just ask questions, it's their business and they'll tell you what you need to know.

Not exactly rocket science here.

If it's "stuff" that's going away ("changing entire look") for good, why even store it? Donate to Goodwill or some other charitable organization- Done! Gone! No extra expense!

They're talking about a roll-off/dumpster/disposal (I actually pulled up the web page of the company cited), not holding on to any of it.

You know what they say about Assumptions.

Yeah. I read "bins"- plastic bins that you can rent when moving/storing. Instead of buying "cardboard boxes".
