Hello,

can you provide an average time and average cost to do the following services for a nyc apartment,
  • wood flooring for 3 rooms (1) dimensions: 13 ft by 11 ft, (2) dimensions: 10 ft by 6 ft , (3) dimensions: 10 ft by 15 ft
  • Molding for 4 doors and 6 windows
  • replace current bathtub -46" long by 26" wide by 15" tall
  • Add wall sink (plumbing work)
  • Demolish current cabinets and place a kitchen cabinets
  • Replace kitchen sink

If you can recommend a contractor, plumber, or handy man/woman for the work, let me know as well.

Thank you!

Unfortunately this is not one of those "New York Minute" moments-

Does this include union carpenters and mechanical trades? Permits? Lots of greased palms for freight elevator, delivery parking, debris removal, and/or any other person with a hand out?

there's a site called homewyse that has an estimate calculator based on zip code. How long it will take depends on the contractor doing the job.

OP - from your other threads, you rent this apartment. Why do you think the landlord is gonna let you do all this stuff?

Unless the owner gave you written permission, you CANNOT do any of these renovations. That's the fastest way for you to get evicted. You will spend all that money on the renovation, then have to pay to restore it back to original condition. And your deposit won't be coming back to you. You'd probably have to pay additional damages as well.

It is, in no way, your property. You are renting a designated area in someone else's building.
