Agreed. Definitely try the bunky boards too if you get a taller king size mattress on top of a tallish frame.

Oh, if you want storage space under your bed, buy a really old antique one. I could probably fit six bodies underneath my bed; it's that far off the floor. The Corgi used to walk underneath it without crouching!
Do you just "assume" that people don't use Google? I did and the results said that singles and twins are the same size.

There is a "single"- it's just not that common in the US&Canada as the chart "says". In the EU/UK a "single" is 36"X75".
