I am older and never knew this.
You know how you spill bleach on yourself and with 30 min...you see, "Oh no..." ?

Well, I have canvas pillows outside...one is white and got black mold in the fibers...
I soaked it in bleachy water for a few hours...nothing.

Did it again for 24-36 hours, tho...VOILA! Like new.
I thought this group would like this story.

Hey all. So hot water or warm water or cold water? I also assume same type of water for all these 3 things right? Mattress protector, t shirt and pillow? And how many hours each?

Thanks.

Okay so right now i tried the stained pillow. I filled the bowl with hot water. The bowl is probably a medium size bowl so it isn't small but it isn't huge. Then i pour like 1/5 of a cup of the vanish. Then i put the pillow in it but i squished it there sort of like fold it in half. Then i poured some more vanish on the top of the folded pillow and then filled more hot water on it where the bowl is pretty much full. But it doesn't cover the top of the folded pillow etc.

So how long should i leave this in hot water?

Just keep checking on it. Might take a long time, but then it might not. Turn it over occasionally if the water doesn't cover the whole thing. Doesn't matter if the water is hot. The hot water is for when you wash it in the washing machine.
