Anyone know how much it would cost to have a 2 story house installed with vinyl siding these days? Just trying to get a ballpark figure before having to have a guy come out to estimate. Any help is appreciated!
Depends- are we talking about a 1,200 sf 2-story house, or a 4,000 sf 2-story house?
Vinyl is priced based on the square footage of the exterior wall surface- usually by the "square", with a square being equal to 100 SF. Depending on the quality level of the material, what you're going over, whether you're wrapping windows/doors/trim/soffits, etc., I've seen pricing in NJ range from under $200/square for uninsured, jackleg contractors to $450-500/square for quality material installed by competent, licensed, insured contractors.
how much vinyl siding would it take for a 24x60 mobile home
