I agree about the squeegee; I also keep an old towel in the bathroom to dry off the tile and tub and fixtures after every use. 30 seconds of toweling off each morning saves hours of scrubbing grout and scrubbing off soap scum.
I was told once that if you use a car wax product on you (clean) tub/shower it will keep it looking great. I guess it's worth a try. I just use scrubbing bubbles at the moment but Ajax is my go-to.

I have used Rain-X on just cleaned shower doors as it helps the water bead and roll off!
I've been using Scrubbing Bubbles for years but I don't let the tub get bad to begin with (not saying you do). Since it's only used for showers, rarely a bath, I wash it every other week while the rest of the bathroom gets cleaned every week.

This - I just grab a microfiber cloth off the pile before I go in, and wipe down real quick after I squeegee. For an investment of less than a minute total (for squegee'ing and wiping), my all-glass shower always looks company-ready.
Every so often I have to do a deeper clean, but even that doesn't take long. I use Sprayaway on the glass and Clorox foaming bleach on the floor. The latter I spray on and let sit for 5-10 minutes, and then scrub with a long-handled good-grips scrubber.
Bleach mixed 50/50 with water will remove both soap scum as well as kill and remove the mildew. It doesn't get much easier but the smell isn't all that enjoyable.
ammonia, vinegar, baking soda..... i've only ever used these to clean because a good thorough cleaning every week never allows the gunk to get out of control.
