In my office I have old looking hardwood floors. The pics included show the hardwood floors and also show them alongside the newer hardwood. I also have included a pic that shows the doorway and how one side is a little higher. if I needed to install new floors that I don't think I would be able to install over existing floors. I guess they would need to remove the floors then install new ones. I have about 8 boxes left of hardwood floors which is more than enough for my office.

Wondering if there is something strong enough to give the floor a new look. As you can see the newer floor isn't that much different in color. I didn't want to buy a wood cleaner/polisher before asking around. The room is small enough to wax if need be. The office is probably 150 sqft

That dark stain is right in the front of the office. Along with the other pic showing the other old looking wood. The rest of the office doesn't have that but doesn't look light and new.

Too bad you already put in some new hardwood. The old stuff can be easily sanded down

to open up the original raw wood surface. In my experience you should call a licensed contractor to look it over and get the job done right.

In this case- "a picture is not worth a thousand words".

Call a flooring company that does refinishing- they can answer your questions better than anyone looking at pictures!
