There are a number of these doors in my house. Up until now they have all worked flawlessly. There's a slider on one side of the shade panel that raises and lowers the shade.
I used the slider on one to lower the shade. Now it won't go back up. I noticed the left side of the shade panel had popped out somewhat. Is this why I can't get the shade back up?
Can you not remove one of the glass panes (on the inside) and get to the shades, etc.?
I have all Pella windows in my lake house, and I can remove one of the panes to get inside if I want to clean the glass, etc.
I've found that older Pella window locks are no longer available when they break. I had to use metal plates to screw the windows shut for security purposes. They're very easy to break into.
