You're welcome. I agree with your Dad, if you can get the part, it is a pretty easy fix.

If you’re looking for a 24” stackable set you should be able to get A LG set for under $1600. It’s a condensing dryer though. I have one for my basement and it works well.

Agree, and cheap too. The part you linked to is $50

I didn't realize it was out of stock. Maybe that is why the guy looked elsewhere. $120.

I'd contact them to see how long it will be out of stock.

Thanks. They don't know. You have to place the order and usually it's in two weeks but that is not a guarantee.

I'd take the chance to order it. My hub had to the last time our dryer broke. What sucked is that they sent him the wrong part after waiting a week to 10 days for it to be in stock. I'm not sure who he ended up ordering from, the place in your link or the Sears parts site

You can also try finding it with the PDF info that teqp gave you. It sure beats being charged $120 for a $25 part that's being sold for $50

It's gone on our 12 year old dryer twice, was worth replacing since hub did it himself. I wouldn't want to be putting the money out for a new dryer in the coming economy.

If it's collected a lot of stuff the lint starts getting trapped and the pump has to work a lot. This may or may not be easy to get to. On my new washer they have a little easy to open panel for it right on the front of the washer. On most older washers you may have to take off larger panel. Check the manual....
Thanks, but how would that cause the cold cycle to employ hot water to make it warm?

It knows the difference between 80 degrees and 200. It doesn't know the difference anymore between 0 and I'm guessing 80. Feels the same as when I set it to 80 (what I assume I should use for 'warm').

If she want's to try to save the drier she can call to see if/when the part would be back in stock (if at all).

It won't let me order. It says no inventory. I can't find any place that lets me order it. IDK where this guy found one for $120.00
