Ah, I am guessing you are one of the people who don't believe masks work.....
No. But laborers who visit for a few hours that you never have to come within 50 feet of are not exactly on the major hazard list.
Jumping backward, you realize that is is absolutely peak time for movers/vans/roofer/carpet cleaning and all the things that go with moving. You're going to want to grab the first movers with a decent reputation within your budget that come along. Fuss over the grunts wearing masks and your stuff will sit in storage until September.
We moved during this time and our moving team did wear masks. I asked before we hired them I have severe asthma and I was worried. I did pack almost everything ahead of time myself. What. I’ didn’t pack I had them leave in the garage and cleaned it as we put things away. It worked out well.

I can totally relate. I am immune compromised so have been concerned myself. I would really only need them to move bigger items such as couches, but those items would need to be placed in the home.
That does completely change the picture. I missed it in your OP.
No worries. I live in a small apartment too so it will be hard to avoid them when they come. I could always go to another room but they will have to come in the bedroom to get the bed etc.

Obvious solution would seem to be to get a friend to oversee the moving guys, but that may not be an option.

They work to keep you from getting coughed on. If you stay a night in a hotel any virus will be gone and you can go in and Lysol all your boxes and furniture. Sheesh.
Originally they were saying to not use up N95 and medical grade masks. Then the 'make your own or use a bandana concept went into effect.
