None of the retailers mentioned on the 409 and Clorax sites has or have had it available for months. I did just check Amazon again. It might ship at the end of the month.
Thank you, I ordered Fantastic already!

We use Simple Green for most clean-up jobs except painted surfaces, but we also miss 409.

i won't use chlorine or ammonia.
ugh. i can tell if they have been used in the building, i get a headache and become instantly nauseous and have to leave the building immediately. fortunately i work someplace where that does not happen often.

Curious mind - why don't you want to use chlorine?
Chlorine has been used as a weapon during WWII.
You are really thinking of WWI, but that time has passed. Chlorine as used in cleaners isn't harmful when used properly. Lots of chemicals can be used as weapons, chlorine, phosgene, even water. Your water is probably disinfected with chlorine, or was in the past if your city ahs switched to chloramines.

Heck most of our useful stuff wouldn't exist without chlorine.

They weaponized mustard gas, too. Do you avoid hot dogs?

Axes, sticks and stones, knives have all been used as weapons, but they are useful when handled peacefully.

I use Green Works. It works as well on household messes as 409 and Fantastik, and it smells like soap instead of toxic waste.

To be fair, mustard gas was given that name because it was yellowish in color and smelled somewhat like mustard. It had nothing in common with mustard, though.

I always have a pretty good supply of things ( cleaning supplies included) but about 2 or 3 months ago I noticed that my cleaning stuff was actually getting depleted. I decided it was time to buy, so I went looking for Fantastick or 409 or Mr Clean- any of that even Target's own brand which I have used often. I was looking for cleaner WITHOUT bleach. I saw the aisles were bare. So then every time I was at the supermarket, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, I looked and again saw nothing recognizable. I did see Puracy at Target which someone had recommended so I bought it. It's pretty good.
Finally about a week ago I saw Fantastick and bought that as well. I think the cleaners are slowly getting back in stock.
Sorry about 409.
