It seems 90%+ doors inside a home are almost identically looking, white 6-panel with the top two small and bottom 4 longer. It seems this is not the case in other countries. Why is that? Just curious (I think it's very boring as if they are all universal dorms ).

Minus a flat panel door, what type of doors are you thinking of that aren't boring?

I don't mean this particular type is boring. I mean it's as if this is the only choice.

IIRC, the 6-panel door is a Christian design which is why it's been around a lot in this Country.

The interior of the top 4 portions makes the Cross.
The bottom 2 panels show an open Bible.

It wasn't always this way. Many different panel configurations were more common in old houses: https://www.google.com/search?q=door...r+doors&imgdii=_

So OP needs to add some pics or reference about what European doors look like. Now I'm curious.

What is the norm in those "other countries"?

Dutch doors are hard to seal, and it's generally no longer necessary to keep the goats and chickens out of the house.
