I live in a retirement community in the Phoenix area. In my garage is an outlet designed to charge a golf cart, which are quite common in the area, although I have no golf cart and have no intention of getting one.
The outlet happens to be right next to my work bench. Can I use that outlet for "regular" tools such as hand drills, sanders, etc., or is that too much electricity and will burn the tools out.
The cart is not just plugged into standard outlet... Though the charger plugs into a standard outlet.
Is it just a regular outlet that is in an area where you're supposed to park a cart?
I second (or third) the request for a picture of the outlet. Even there's some kind of an installed, built-in charger, it would have a specialized plug for the exact cart make and model.

Lets not split hairs ... the charger plugs into a 110 wall outlet and the charger plugs into the cart. The OP, having no knowledge of golf carts, doesn't need to get confused with all of this.

If hes asking if he can use the plug to charge his drill .... 99.99% chance its a normal outlet on his wall.

OK but an outlet you might plug a charger into is not the same as "an outlet designed to charge a golf cart".
It's an important distinction.
