Stubborn toilet clog? If this post were in Politics and Other Controversies, we could have a field day with this thread. (Hint: it's been in the news)

I'm a happy Scott customer - been buying it for decades.

I guess one of the solutions would be to call the FBI... (amongst bleach, auger, detergent)

#metoo (at least 20 years)

I like toilet paper that lasts and lasts and lasts...

Water pooling at your feet when showering? The kitchen sink?
I gotta nurse my kitchen sink for the last year. Just had the main line snaked this week after 14 years.

I am sure the pipe going into the wall from the sink has built up gunk over time. I just hate to take all that crap apart and use a small snake and try to get it all back together. I use very hot water from time to time and a plunger and it is seems fine for a few weeks and then repeat.

The Dawn and hot water didn't work on my kitchen sink/disposal. Time to call a plumber.

I had my garbage disposal replaced today. The old one was a 10 year old GE one that was full of rust. Plumber said that brand usually starts leaking first and I'm lucky that didn't happen. It's very strange to see the water in the sink draining immediately now!

OP got the clog cleared, but in case this isn’t universally known, before you plunge a toilet, seal up the bathroom’s sink drain, shower or tub drain, and any other plumbing openings.

I wipe off all water around the holes and seal with sticky duct tape.
