Also, you can't figure the cost of carpet by the square footage of the house. Carpet has a nap and has to all lay in the same direction and that means that there will be some waste. A carpet installer will have to figure out the best way to install carpet and how much he will need to buy. Very often, carpet does not come in the exact width as the room.

He wants to redo his bathroom. The way OP worded it he wants the same person to do paint and carpet (which leads me to believe he wants someone to coordinate all of it).
