Where should the flat head screws go? (replace, drywall, difference)

I took off all 6 screws from the chair seat in order to reupholster the chair. The attached photo shows the 6 holes from where the screws were taken, pointed by red arrows.
It turns out that the screws are not the same shape. They are four round heads and two flat heads. See the attached photo showing the screws.
I recall that two round heads are from the two holes at the front (the two holes to the right in the photo). But I don't remember which holes the remaining screws (two round, two flat) are from among the four holes to the left in the photo.
Does it matter if I put the flat head screws in the holes for round head screws, and vice versa?
Look at the bottom of the hole- if it's flat, the round head screws. If it's tapered (cone shape), the flat head screws.
Look at the screw heads- you'll see the difference!
Thanks for the suggestion. Seems that the flat heads fit into the holes on the back side (to the left in the photo), due to the cone shape inside those two holes.
However, they don't feel like perfect cones. Makes me wonder the wrong type of screws (flat heads) were used, per Nodpete's comment.
Makes sense to use the same type of round heads to replace the flat heads. Agree?
Some of those screws look like "counter-sunk" screws.
Correct. The heads of the screws were below the surface of the wood.
