Unfortunately, quality has gone down so much that anyone who has a great stove that has lasted without repairs, you can no longer get that stove. That brand has changed how they make appliances and probably every component part for every brand is coming out of China. Although that might not be true for the European brands, but they are quite expensive and I don't know if they use Chinese components or not.

What's a great electric range?

Thanks so much!
Find a good used appliance store, see what they have. I have a great one nearby, the guy who runs it has been in the appliance biz for many decades. He knows what breaks on most appliances and will preemptively replace the parts, he noted to me that the replacement part is usually not identical to the original part, it's upgraded.

That said why do you think it would not be possible or practical to repair the range you have? If it's just the oven, usually that's just the heating element, which is not expensive or difficult to replace.
