I reside here in NC and we are having quite the storm. My home is about 10 years old. The water is literally coming right up through the slab? There is an old bolt of some type where the water seems to be coming through at. However, doesn't the foundation footing around the slab there to prevent water from coming under the slab? The water is about 3-5 gallons, manageable, but I'm more concerned about what is going on under that slab. Any advice?

Since you are having a terrific storm, there is the chance that this is ground water that is being pushed up by pressure rather than rain water running in under the foundation. You could check around your plumbing drains and piping to see if any is coming in around them too.
