We're talking jambs, facia and siding that's on the top 1/4 (front and back, not sides) of the exterior walls.
I'd do the trim (jambs and facia) in black or a very dark grey/charcoal. The part of the exterior wall that is siding I'd paint white to match the house.

How about a shade of white on siding that would constrast the body?
Fascia I would keep white, I don't consider that "trim" and you want it to blend in, not stand out. I'm confused about siding that you are talking about - I can't picture 1/4. What material is your actual house? I assumed it was white and you were talking just trim: jambs, possible shutters, etc.

Is the remainder of the house brick? White brick? Since you already have a red door and your going to be using a contrasting color on the trim I'd get a pretty close match if your talking about that large of a hunk of siding on the house. Even just a small amount of siding I'd still go w/ something as close to the brick color as possible. The red and black are going to be the MAIN contrasts. The 4th color for the siding should NOT be a contrasting color. It should blend in seamlessly. You REALLY don't want FOUR different and contrasting colors on the exterior of your house.

True about the fascia. I'd keep it white. It would not stick out like sore thumb though if it was black as well as the rest of the trim on the exterior of the house and the roof was as close to black as it could be.
