I have not found a product to clean my SS appliances that does not leave streaks. Is there a cleaner that you use that does not leave streaks and you don't have to work all day to get them to shine. Thank you, kelsie

I like Red Max. You can find it at Lowe's and I think Home Depot too.

I use it in conjunction with this 3M pad. Kitchen Surface Cleaning Products The pad seems to do a good job in distributing the Red Max evenly. Otherwise, I use a terry cloth rag to apply the cleaner. It does a great job!

I love the Weiman Stainless wipes - i never get streaks and it is quick and easy - I just use a papertowel to wipe it down after I use the wipes.

Take a clean dry cloth (100% cotton and obviously non-abrasive), put small amount of (good quality) olive oil on the cloth and rub on the SS.

After a few tries, you'll find the right amount to dab on the cloth. This works splendidly!

Sheila Shine is the commercial product for stainless. IIRC, it is partly a mineral oil (won't build up a gummy residue like olive oil over the years).

Sprayway works really well. Their glass cleaner is really good also.

Try mixing 1 part distilled white vinegar with 3 parts water in a spray bottle. Vinegar is acidic so you cannot use it on every surface (never on wood, marble, or granite) but I use it on metal fixtures all the time and it shines them up like nothing else.

I am a big fan of cleaning with vinegar because it does not have the heavy smells of most commercial cleaners, it is cheap, and it's much less toxic than commercial products.

I just use a sponge with hot water and dish soap to clean them, then I dry with a microfiber cloth. I haven't had any problem with streaks.
