Hi,

I am not sure which forum can help with this issue, but we have a dishwasher that has stainless interior, not our choice it was here when we moved in, however there seems to be no way to clean the inside of it, and it drives me nuts!
See photo below:

How in the world am I supposed to clean this up?

Thank you.

Obviously, it's just soap residue from the dispenser. And with SS, a good scrubbing with ScotchBrite will have it looking spiffy in no time.

Run it with some lime-a-way or some other cleaner, they make cleaners just for this.

Ohh....

Is there a brand of dishwasher detergent that does not do this? why is it doing this?

I bought a stainless cleaner at Target and it did not clean it at all...any brand comes to mind that works?

Thank you much.

Try using a liquid dishwasher soap in the future. You might try following this link:

Pay particular attention to step 2.

Use Dishwasher Magic first, but make sure the tap water is hot and then start your machine. Use a product like CLR afterwards if the stain is still there.

Looks like hard water deposits to me. CLR might do it if done a few times but that looks rather heavily coated to me.Might need some elbow greae used wth CLR several times.
