I am planning an egress window project in my basement. I want to expand the current small sliders and cut them lower to allow for a full-size egress window to code.

The only problem is that my house's PVC waste line runs along the foundation wall exactly where the window cuts will have to be made.

Are there any solutions here? I assume you cannot elbow around the window because the bends will be too drastic and frequent.

Can you 45 out of the house and continue the waste line outside of the house underground and tie back in after the windows?

I know both of these ideas seem out of the box or strange, but I'm racking my brain for an appropriate and reliable solution before I start.

Steve

Is your house trap below the grade of the slab?

No, unfortunately it is on the basement wall aprox. 40 inches above the floor before the line exits the building.

How about a different location altogether?
Block up the existing and cut-in in a new location; preferably where there is no plumbing.

Some pictures might help!

Unfortunately that may have to be the solution unless someone recomends something else for me to try. I wanted to avoid it because this would basically mean the well would have to be in the front of the house. I guess some creative landscaping will need to be used to maintain the look.
